Calabash Project

Since 2015

Collaborative project with farmers in small villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project includes planting, growing, drying, cutting, scrubbing, sanding and painting calabashes (gourds).

 

Combining repetitive processes of land cultivation and repetitive process of crafting the aim of the project is to connect with the nature and experience its power of healing and renewal.

Thought Provoking Conversations

Since 2020

Conversations with various people about various topics that provoke a new thoughts and inspire learning and practicing something unfamiliar.

Recorded conversations between two people are uploaded on YouTube. 

Conversations done in small group are in private setting, either online or in person at Mirela Kulovic Studio.

Art Centar in Gračanica (ACG)

Since 2017

Is an international artist-run initiatives for interdisciplinary practice.

 

Focus of the project is an artists residency program in town Gračanica in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The program includes various workshops, hands-on experience, exhibitions  events, seminars and educational field trips in local area.

MinEastry of Postcollapse Art and Culture (MPAC)

Since 2019

A curatorial project dedicated to emerging artists from Eastern Europe, Western and Central Asia and their diasporas.

 

Partnering with nonprofit and not-for-profit organizations, MPAC’s aim is to curate exhibitions that promote artists whose formative years either coincided with the fall of the Iron Curtain or who were born immediately following its collapse.

Dragana's Salon

Dragana’s Salon is a space for artists to co-create works through different mediums with the emphasis on the process of making art and constructing knowledge. It’s experimental in nature and explorative in its mission to experience art.
